Today, I remembered I'm to be keeping up with this blog world... :) Far too often I've begun only to forget and not return until so much time has passed.
I set my alarm for everything else in my life - I will set me alarm for regularly coming here and updating my thoughts/life. Not that anyone really wants to read what I have to say but it will give me an outlet for posting things that keep us busy.
I've been busy since last posting. We had two of our 13 grandchildren spend some time with us in May. Then June 10-13 we had a small family reunion (us, our children and grandchildren) in the town where we raised our kids. It was so much fun! Pictures will be included here. June 13 we were back home and getting back to our lives. June 13 the first of four Snowchildren was dropped off as her family continued North to their home. She stayed for 1.5 weeks and then we switched her for her sister - and etc until all four had been here by him/herself with us. It was so fun! The last 5 days of their summer break was with all four of them here at the same time!! We slowed down this summer for them to be here and loved every minute of it. Learning their personalities a bit better as there were here individually was interesting. Much of it we knew but some was new. They've been gone one week now and the house is so quiet. Empty nest all over again. We've continued to spend more time just being - evenings on the porch may be our new thing... so relaxing.
Ellie is the youngest Snow - she's going into second grade this year - and is NOT looking forward to school this year. Praying that she has a good year!
Layla is our third oldest grandchild. She is going into 6th grade this year. She has always loved learning. Amara is the second oldest Snow. She is a pleasure to have around... a strong personality and she too likes what she likes and doesn't like what she doesn't like, but will usually come around.
Micah is the only Snow boy. He constantly says he wants a brother... that'd be nice, but most likely will not be happening. He loves school and does very well. His vocabulary is beyond his years and he will go far in life.
I will be busy today. I'm spending some time in my sewing room today - trying to organize and get my projects I've begun through the years all finished and out of the way - so I can begin new ones :). I have some bookkeeping to do and some house work. I'll stay busy.
